Ingredients
1 | pc | white onion, chopped |
1 | Tbsp | garlic, minced |
3 | Tbsp | butter or oil |
500 | g | ground beef |
3 | Tbsp | raisins |
3 | packs | Hunt's Tomato Sauce 250g |
¼ | cup | chicken stock or water |
1 | pc | bay leaf |
⅛ | tsp | garlic powder |
drops | liquid seasoning | |
To taste | salt and pepper | |
3 | pcs | saging saba, sliced into 2 lengthwise |
3 | pcs | eggs, fried sunny side-up |
Procedure:
- Deep fry saging saba until golden brown, then set aside. Marinate beef with garlic powder and liquid seasoning.
- Sauté onions and garlic in butter. Add beef and brown. Add Hunt's Pinoy Tomato Sauce, raisins and bay leaf. Simmer for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Add stock to prevent the beef from drying or sticking together like meatballs. Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with fried saba and fried egg. Serve with cooked white rice.
