Ingredients
1 | pc | white onion, finely chopped |
2 | cloves | garlic, minced |
1 | tsp | ginger, grated |
4 | Tbsp | corn oil |
250 | g | ground pork |
¾ | cup | Shiitake mushrooms, rehydrated in ½ cup warm water, chopped |
1 | pack | Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce Pinoy Party Style 1kg |
1 | pc | bay leaf |
1 | tsp | sesame oil |
½ | tsp | hoisin sauce |
1 | Tbsp | soy sauce |
¼ | tsp | salt |
¼ | tsp | pepper |
500 | g | cooked spaghetti |
Garnish with | ||
1 | tsp | sesame seeds |
2 | Tbsp | adobo peanuts, chopped |
1 | Tbsp | spring onion or sibuyas mura, chopped |
Procedure:
- Sauté onions, garlic, ginger in corn oil. Add ground pork and shiitake mushrooms.
- When pork is slightly brown, add Hunt's Pinoy Style Spaghetti Sauce, mushroom water (where shiitake was rehydrated) and bay leaf. Simmer for 8 - 10 minutes.
- Add sesame oil, hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Take out bay leaf before tossing in pasta and top with sesame seeds, peanuts and spring onion.
