Ingredients
2 | Tbsp | cooking oil |
¼ | cup | onion, chopped |
2 | cloves | garlic, minced |
1 | Tbsp | ginger, sliced thinly |
1 | Tbsp | chili garlic sauce |
4 | pcs | boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes |
1 | pack | Hunt's Tomato Sauce 115g |
1/8 | tsp | five spice powder |
½ | cup | cashew nuts (or ordinary peanuts) |
1 | tsp | cornstarch diluted in 1 Tbsp. water |
½ | tsp | sesame oil |
To taste | salt and pepper |
Procedure:
- Saute onion, garlic, and ginger in oil, then add chili garlic sauce and chicken. Cook until brown.
- Pour in Hunt's Tomato Sauce and five spice powder, then simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add nuts, and pour cornstarch mixture. Mix until desired thickness is achieved, then add sesame oil.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy!
