Ingredients
1 | Tbsp | garlic, minced |
1 | tsp | ginger, grated |
½ | pc | white onion, chopped |
1 | Tbsp | corn oil |
½ | cup | ground pork |
½ | cup | whole kernel corn, drained |
1½ | cup | snow peas (sitsaro) |
1 | cans | Hunt's Pork and Beans 230g |
¼ | cup | chicken stock or water |
2 | Tbsp | oyster sauce |
½ | tsp | sugar |
1 | tsp | sesame oil |
1 | Tbsp | Thai patis |
1 | tsp | cornstarch, diluted in 1 Tbsp of water |
¼ | tsp | sesame seeds |
Procedure:
- Saute garlic, ginger, and onion. Add pork to the pan, then cook for 3 minutes.
- Add in corn and snow peas. Cook for 5 minutes or until peas are well cooked. Pour the Hunt's Pork and Beans, and simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Add chicken stock, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and Thai patis. Cook for another minute.
- Thicken sauce with cornstarch. Place in a plate, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
