Ingredients
4 | pcs | cream dory fillet or tilapia fillet |
2 | Tbsp | calamansi juice |
2 | Tbsp | liquid seasoning |
1 | cup | all-purpose flour |
2 | Tbsp | corn oil (for deep frying) |
2 | Tbsp | butter |
1 | pc | onion, finely chopped |
1 | pack | Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce Basil & Cheese 1kg |
1/4 | cup | white wine (optional) |
12 | pcs | basil leaves, sliced thinly |
1 | kg | cooked fusilli pasta (other alternatives - penne or twist pasta) |
Procedure:
- Marinate dory in calamansi juice and liquid seasoning. Dredge in flour, then deep fry in oil until golden and crispy. Set aside.
- In a large pan, heat butter, then add onions. Pour in Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce Basil & Cheese, white wine and simmer for ten minutes. Add basil last.
- Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, then place in a bowl and serve with crispy fried fish.
