Ingredients

For the topping:
5 pcs potato, peeled and cubed
6 Tbsp milk
½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
tsp nutmeg
To taste   salt and pepper
For the pie:    
½ pc white onion, finely chopped
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
3 Tbsp olive oil
300 g ground beef
1 can Hunt's Pork & Beans 390g
tsp sage
tsp salt
tsp pepper

Procedure:

  1. For the topping: Boil potatoes until cooked. While still hot, mash potatoes with milk, cheddar cheese, and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add ground beef, then continue sauteeing until beef is cooked. 
  3. Add Hunt's Pork & Beans and sage into the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble sauteed meat mixture in a casserole with mashed potatoes on top. Heat in the oven or microwave.
