Ingredients
¼ | kg | ox tripe |
2 | Tbsp | butter |
2 | cloves | garlic, minced |
½ | pc | white onion, finely chopped |
1 | pack | Hunt's Pork & Beans 230g |
1 | pack | Hunt's Tomato Sauce 115g |
1 | pc | roasted red bell pepper, peeled and sliced |
½ | tsp | paprika |
¼ | tsp | salt |
¼ | tsp | pepper |
¼ | cup | canned garbanzos, peeled |
Procedure:
- In a pressure cooker, soften ox tripe for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once cooked, cut into 1 ½ inch cubes. Set aside.
- On a separate pan, saute garlic and onion in butter. Add ox tripe, Hunt's Pork & Beans, Hunt's Tomato Sauce, bell pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper. Add garbanzos. Serve and enjoy!
