Ingredients
2 | Tbsp | vegetable oil |
3 | cloves | garlic, roughly chopped |
1 | pc | carrot, roughly chopped |
2 | stalks | celery with leaves, roughly chopped |
1 | pc | onion, roughly chopped |
1½ | cup | water |
1 | can | Hunts Pork & Beans 175g |
⅓ | cup | elbow macaroni, or broken spaghetti |
1 | tsp | dried oregano (optional) |
To taste | salt and pepper |
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium before adding garlic, carrots, celery, and onions.
- Stir in water and Hunt's Pork and Beans, then bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat to a simmer, then add the pasta. Cook for 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
- Season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Divide among warm soup bowls and serve immediately.
