Ingredients

½ | L | water |
1 | pack | Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce Pinoy Party Style 1kg |
4 | pcs | red onion, quartered |
1 | Tbsp | pepper, crushed |
3 | pcs | bay leaf |
2 | Tbsp | vinegar |
3 | Tbsp | soy sauce |
2 | Tbsp | brown sugar |
6 | cloves | garlic, crushed |
3 | pcs | star anise |
3 | pcs | carrot, chopped |
3 | pcs | potato, chopped |
Procedure:
- Simmer pata tim in water for 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Discard the water from the first boil to get rid of scums and impurities.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients except the carrots and potatoes and simmer for 2-3 hours or until meat is fork tender.
- Add carrots and potatoes 45 minutes before pork is done.
