Procedure:
- In a sauce pot, put in bacon and some water. Simmer until oil is rendered and bacon is crispy. Set aside.
- Using the same pot with bacon fat, sauté onion, celery, and ham until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms to the pot. Stir in flour and mix well.
- Slowly whisk in water or stock, then add potatoes and Hunt's Pork & Beans.
- Simmer until thick, then add cream and sage. Serve hot with bacon bits on top.
